About ANGEL Course E-Reserves

MCC Libraries has transitioned its electronic course reserves management system. As of July 14, 2010 we are using the ANGEL E-Reserves Repository to exclusively manage electronic reserves for the following materials:

  • Copyrighted articles
  • Copyrighted book chapters
  • Copyrighted multimedia (videos/films) & images
  • Placing durable links to articles from our subscription databases
  • Linking to websites with author permission

Library staff can move copyrighted items (i.e. periodical articles, book chapters) into your ANGEL course shell provided that you have obtained copyright permission if needed.

Before you can use ANGEL E-Reserves, you will need to complete the libraries' 1 hour ANGEL E-Reserves training session. Keep in mind that this use of ANGEL E-Reserves only permits use of copyrighted materials. Contact Bill Archer (warcher@monroecc.edu) at x2312 at the Brighton campus library to register to attend our 1 hour orientation. For the DCC campus library, contact Kate Jenkins (kjenkins@monroecc.edu) at x2320 to register.

If you would like to use ANGEL beyond E-Reserves to add materials such as lecture notes, syllabi, PowerPoint
presentations, etc. to your ANGEL course Learning Modules you will need to take further ANGEL training or use the Courses folder on the M-Drive. Contact Ann Gilbert (agilbert@monroecc.edu) in Instructional Technologies at x3440 to sign-up for ANGEL Training. Please plan ahead, as ANGEL training is intensive, involving at least 6-9 hours of training.
