Artstor on JSTOR: Working with images

Copy Image Groups from Artstor to JSTOR Workspace

If you have Image Groups on the legacy Artstor platform, JSTOR will perform a one-time copy of all of your Artstor Image Groups to your JSTOR Workspace early in 2024. However, if you prefer not to wait until that date, you can select, copy, and then work with your Image Groups on JSTOR at any time.

JSTOR has created the image copy tool which you can use to copy your Artstor Image Groups.

Tips:

  • You can copy Image Groups as often as you want. Each copy will be labeled as a duplicate.
  • In JSTOR you can delete or move Workspace folders in bulk, rather than individually as in Artstor

The copies JSTOR will make for you in early 2024 will be placed in a parent folder in your Workspace. Each Image Group will become a subfolder in this parent folder so it will be easy to see and edit that content as you wish. These copies will not overwrite any work you've done in the meantime.
