Looking for something that isn't available at the MCC Libraries?
General Databases
Articles from scholarly journals, magazines, and newspapers covering most subjects. Contains peer-reviewed articles as well as general interest material. Partially full-text.
Google Scholar provides a simple way to broadly search for scholarly literature. From one place, you can search across many disciplines and sources: articles, theses, books, abstracts and court opinions, from academic publishers, professional societies, online repositories, universities and other web sites.
Note: The Google Scholar link in the A-Z List of Databases is proxied for off-campus access so that the 'ViewIt@MCC" link appears in results. If you sign-in to your Google account when off-campus the proxying will no longer be in effect for Scholar and the "ViewIt@MCC" links will not appear. To see the “ViewIt@MCC” links when signed-in to your Google account when off-campus go to “Settings/Library Links” search for "Monroe Community College Libraries" and select it. For help go to https://libguides.monroecc.edu/googlescholar.
Offers full-text, online e-books covering a wide range of subjects and topics. Using the AI Research Assistant in Ebook Central video
