What is Windows Speech Recognition?

Windows Speech Recognition is a speech recognition software (speech-to-text) that allows students to dictate papers and assignments, or to control their computer desktop and applications by voice. 

Where can I find Windows Speech Recognition?

You can access Windows Speech Recognition from any computer in the library.

How do I access Windows Speech Recognition?

  1. Log in to a computer using your network username and password.
  2. From the desktop, click on the Start button.
  3. Click on All Programs.
  4. Click on Accessories.
  5. Click on Ease of Access
  6. Click on Windows Speech Recognition.
